Joe Petrashek founded Starscapes in 1979 after a more than a decade of research, discovery and inspiration using luminescent paint.   With the gorgeous night sky in the Arizona mountains as his muse, Petrashek sought a way to bring this beauty to homes and buildings worldwide.  Petrashek had been a successful performing magician for many years. Utilizing his background in magic, Starscapes’ founder sought to make his vision a reality. His tenacity combined with solid entrepreneurial spirit led Petrashek to form the patented Starscapes ceiling mural and create Voyager Industries as the publisher of the Starscapes brand and StarBiz Specialty Artist Educational Program.

Starscapes has led the way though inspiration, innovation and imagination.  In 1994, Starscapes was the first ever to list a URL in an advertisement when it hit entrepreneurial magazine both stateside and abroad.  Starscapes has always been on the cutting edge of business. As a company, Starscapes pushes the envelope and challenges its associates to be the best they can be, just as founder Joe Petrashek has done in his own life.  Petrashek was not happy with the common paint standards for luminescent paint and thusly created Creation Paint™ specifically for the Starscapes murals. Creation Paint™ is not available anywhere else and imitations should be avoided.

Joe Petrashek has taught the Starscapes method of painting to over 6,000 StarBiz Associates worldwide.  Along with the painting method, students are taught how to market and sell the product in order to achieve financial freedom.  The Starscapes celestial masterpiece is one of a kind.  Petrashek has devoted over 30 years to Starscapes and through his hard work and expertise he has created a successful business that brings joy to customers all over the world.  Petrashek is happy to share his methods of success to interested parties.
